Saturday 28: Commune with Belgium’s purity-obsessed neighbor at Mockery Brewing Co.’s Reinheitsgewhat? to celebrate the 502nd anniversary of Germany’s beer purity law. Mockery will have special (though law-breaking) beer releases, a German-themed band, and a German food truck menu.
Saturday 28: Or if Mexican better suits your mood, get a preview of Cinco de Mayo at the Sabroso Craft Beer, Taco, and Music Festival at Fiddler’s Green. This all-day festival will feature tastings of over 100 craft beers, gourmet tacos, musinc from bands like the Offspring, Pennywise, and several, plus Lucha Libre wrestling. So go ahead and fill up while checking out some great entertainment! Note: This is a ticketed event.
Saturday 28: Finally, if crawfish sounds more appealing, Living the Dream Brewing hosts their annual Crawfish Boil. Enjoy loads of crawfish with all the tasty New Orleans sides and of course delicious Living the Dream Beer. Note: This is a ticketed event.
Saturday 28: For a more active take on the West Side Brewery Bus, WestFax Brewing Company kicks off their first West Side Brewery Bike Loop featuring a 6.7-mile route including Seedstock Brewery, Joyride Brewing Company and Hogshead Brewery. The ride starts at noon but if you miss this one WesFax has a several more scheduled over the summer.
Sunday 29: If you need to recover from any of the Saturday festivities, head to Launch Pad Brewery for their Pajama Brunch starting at 10. With a brunch food menu, a themed stout release, and beer-mosas it’ll put you right back in the mood for another day of drinking. No need to even change out of your jammies – they’ll get you 10% off!
